Sharon Spice lives in Edmonton where there is overcrowding and considerable pollution including an incinerator. The existence of many flats with no gardens and little green apace locally can badly impact of people’s well being and mental health She believes things will get worse if we do not do something now.

Rudi Page has developed community dialogue for many years to engage communities that are hard to reach or marginalised. He believes community champions can play a key role and here he describes their importance. We hope too recruit community champions for our Climate Change & Public Health projec

Bethany Swift also is at 21K Digital Media in Edmonton Green where she is learning and developing her media skills. She tells us here about how they are developing a video on air pollution to engage and correct false information. 21K Digital Media will be working with us in the coming months to create awareness about climate change and public health as this gives a great opportunity for their trainers and gives us a chance to hear what local people feel about the issues they face.

Candice McDonald believes we should use Green Space as much as possible and much could be used for growing food. It brings food to local people and oxygen to the air. Candice sets an example in this by running an allotment and growing food for local food banks. She also works with projects in Edmonton to encourage the growing of food.  #Enfvideostories

In this short video story Tamsin Ellis a GP talks about the impact that climate change will have on health and especially on those in disadvantaged communities. She lists some of the risks to health that climate change will cause but she also emphasises that to tackle climate change we must do so through climate justice to help the most vulnerable as they will be in the front line of the public health problems resulting from climate change.

Tijen Hassan is part of a group of friends who have developed a community garden for growing food in Edmonton. She tells us why she and others started Angel Gardens and about the lack of green space in Edmonton. She is worried about the development of flats in her part of Edmonton with no gardens and the need for green space for those families. #Enfvideostories

Clare Moloney is from Hinterlands which is a national arts programme promoting wellbeing and connecting communities. They work with young people who have climate change in their consciousness. Hinterlands is a national project conceived by Canal & River Trust, designed to connect communities with their local waterways and promote well being and creativity. I lead Hinterlands in London and am producing a programme of artist and community-led explorations of the River Lee Navigation.  #Enfvideostories

Tony Nicolaides sees that events like international conflict and climate change will place our food system in crisis and for those already suffering food poverty this will be a crisis of health and well being.. He considers it important that we all learn how to reduce food waste as a way of protecting our future

Georgie works with the theatre company Chickenshed as an outreach worker. She makes lots of contact with young people from 5 years of age to their mid teens. She tells us that they are worried about climate change and describes here some of the issues that concern them most.
